In order to protect you and your customers always ask the supplier (importer) the documents required by law.

The retailer is jointly responsible under law.
The product must contain the words "imported by ... " both in the box and in the obligatory instruction manual in Italian with printed Declaration of Conformity.
The importer is required to be registered in the EEE, under penalty of 30 thousand to 100 thousand euros.
The documents for the EC should be produced by the Importer, not by the foreign supplier.
